Have you seen this hilarious show called American Housewife yet? It’s definitely a show I can completely relate to and totally laugh at knowing I just went through that yesterday with my family. While in LA last month for the Queen of Katwe Event I was able to visit the set of ABC TV’s American Housewife. They were shooting on location which took up the entire parking lot.
When we walked on set we were able to see the film crew with their huge set of cameras. It was amazing to see all of the technical work that goes behind each episode. The cast sat around a table and practiced their lines as makeup did their last run through each of the girls. Katy Mixon practiced her lines and gave us a quick wave while the girls chatted as the crew got ready to shoot.
When we first entered the room all we saw were cameras, the cast. and Christmas Decorations all around. This being the Christmas themed episode we were super excited to see a sneak peek of what we were going to expect in the coming up weeks. Sadly everything here is super under wraps so we weren’t able to stay while they filmed.
It was fantastic meeting the stars of this hilarious show, they are so nice and welcoming. Do you see her! Mrs. Fitbit herself along with Kat and her best friends! EEKK!! I was able to have a quick chat with Kat Mixon and she swears if you loved the first episode you will be in total love with the second one. She was so right! I was able to screen the episode titled “The Nap” last night and it’s hilarious!
Every Tuesday American Housewife airs at 8:30 pm EST, make sure you tune into tonight’s episode titled ” The Nap”. This episode is so relatable I couldn’t help but laugh at how the struggle she went through during this episode rung so true to my life. Although she speaks from a stay at home mom’s standpoint I can still relate to the many struggles she faced when just trying to take her precious nap. Sometimes that’s all we need is a mom nap!
Don’t forget to keep watching as the Tuesday Comedy Night Lineup continues with some other amazing shows! Before American Housewife you can catch “The Middle” at 8pm, with “The Real O’Neals” and “Fresh Off the Boat” following American Housewife. Tune in tonight and come back and let us know what your favorite part was of this week’s episode of American Housewife.

I’ve been watching this show. It’s pretty funny, though I dislike how they throw the “Fat” word around when she is anything BUT fat in my eyes.
